Managed to do a drive around the area today and have a look at the damage done by the fire in Herriman. It is really apparent as you drive around the scope of the damage: burnt hillsides everywhere and I managed to get some photos of the house that burnt down very near The Cove. It's awful to think that they lost everything, the house literally burnt down to the ground, nothing left but the basement walls and the chimney. There were others that burnt but this one is REALLY close to our house in The Cove.

Fire in Herriman, skeletons of restored cars, notice how the fire was at the back of the barn and the wind changed and it ended up skirting the barn all together. The Fire department were up there fighting the fire but they were unable to stop the fire getting to the house.
